24/7 Emergency AC Repair in Garland, TX
It’s the middle of the night and your AC just died. Call anyway — a real person answers, every time.
It’s the middle of the night and your AC just died. Call anyway.
This is the page for right now, not for reading later. If your AC quit at midnight, on a Sunday, or on a holiday, the phone still gets answered by a person who can get a technician moving — not a voicemail box, not an answering service reading a script.
A person answers. Every time.
A lot of AC companies advertise “24/7” and mean their business hours, with an answering service or voicemail covering everything else. You call at 2am, leave a message, and the callback comes after sunrise — by which point the house has been unbearable for hours and the problem hasn’t gotten any better on its own.
We built the on-call rotation specifically so that doesn’t happen here. When you call at 2am, a real person who can dispatch a technician picks up. You’ll get a straight answer about how soon someone can be there, not a guess and not a script.
When It’s Genuinely an Emergency
- No cooling at all in extreme heat, especially in a house with young children, older adults, or anyone with a health condition.
- A burning smell from any part of the system — shut it off and call immediately. This is an electrical safety issue, not a wait-and-see one.
- Ice on the refrigerant lines — shut the system off. Running it iced up can turn a small repair into a much bigger one.
- Water actively leaking near electrical components.
If your situation matches any of these, don’t wait for morning.
What Happens When You Call
1. You reach a person, not a menu
They’ll ask a few quick questions about what’s happening.
2. A technician gets dispatched
You’ll get a realistic timeframe, not an optimistic one.
3. Free estimate on arrival
The technician diagnoses the actual problem before anything is touched.
4. One written quote
Agreed before any repair work starts — no different at 2am than at 2pm.
No published price for emergency calls, same as every other page on this site — the estimate is free and the quote is written, whatever hour it is.
While You Wait for the Technician
A few things that genuinely help in the meantime, and one that doesn’t:
- Close blinds and curtains on the sun-facing side of the house. It’s a small difference but a real one when the AC is off.
- Avoid the oven and stovetop if you can. Every extra heat source in the house works against you right now.
- Check the breaker before assuming the worst. A tripped breaker is a two-minute fix and one of the most common reasons a system “just stops.”
- Don’t keep restarting the system. Repeatedly cycling a unit that’s failing can turn a small problem into a bigger one — including on a system that’s iced up, where restarting is the opposite of helpful.
- Stay hydrated and check on anyone in the house who’s more heat-sensitive — young kids, older adults, anyone with a health condition. See is no AC an emergency in Texas? → for more on when this crosses from uncomfortable into genuinely risky.
None of this fixes the AC. It just makes the wait less miserable while someone’s on the way.
